The character of Sunny Minya
Sunny Minya is an Egyptian limestone family with a warm palette that can lean towards golden beige and yellow. Associated with the Minya area, different selections vary in colour intensity and surface detail. Minya, Menia and Menya are market spellings of the name, rather than proof that every offered selection is identical.
Cladding that explores depth and direction
Marmojet’s current presentation focuses on wall cladding and architectural features. A designer can compare linear scratching with a split-face surface to explore regular rhythm or a stronger sense of relief. Positioning a sample on a wall in its proposed orientation helps evaluate the intended composition before approval.
Choosing the right form
The displayed forms are bush-hammered, linear-scratched and split-face panels. Discuss panel dimensions, laying pattern, joints and edges with the project team. Finishes promoted by another supplier should not automatically be treated as available within the same Marmojet selection.

MARMOJET / MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE
Your questions, answered.
Does Sunny Menia refer to Sunny Minya?
Both spellings are used for the trade name. Photographs, samples and the selection reference remain necessary to identify the actual grade being purchased.
Can the direction of the linear pattern be discussed?
Linear scratching is one of the displayed treatments. Show the intended orientation in the project drawings and confirm fabrication options and dimensions with the team.
Care & maintenance
For calcareous stone, use a mild non-acidic cleaner, remove spills promptly and keep floor grit under control. Avoid vinegar, lemon and acidic cleaners. Specify a sealer where needed for the stone and finish; it does not make stone acid-proof. Use a specialist for installation or restoration.
