MARMOJET / THE GREY COLLECTION
Triesta Black

THE CHARACTER OF STONE
Applications
Floors, stairs and architectural features.
What does Triesta Black refer to?
Triesta Black is a trade name for dark Egyptian stone. One producer’s listing uses Triesta (Sinai Pearl) Black and describes the colour as dark grey. Marmojet presents it as a selection for contrast and visual depth. Review the actual sample in project lighting rather than expecting a uniform black solely from its name.
Polished surfaces and rock wall cladding
The current gallery pairs a polished sample with rock wall cladding. For design comparison, consider the field of colour on the polished piece against the stronger surface relief of the cladding, then discuss each element’s role in the project. The finish is a central part of the selection, rather than an incidental label.
Defining location and detail
Marmojet lists floors, stairs and architectural features among the uses. Define finish, thickness and edges for the intended location, reviewing traffic and moisture requirements where relevant. A polished sample alone does not establish suitability for every staircase or exterior surface.

MARMOJET / MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE
Your questions, answered.
Is Triesta Black a uniform black?
The trade name does not guarantee a uniform black: producer references also describe it as dark grey. Approve the colour through the actual sample and batch photographs.
Does it share identical properties with every Triesta stone?
A shared name does not establish matching properties, grade or treatment. Review documentation for the actual selection where the project has a technical specification.
Care & maintenance
Ask the Marmojet team for cleaning and protection guidance specific to the selected material and finish before installation.
